Nifty Cafe and Wine Bar

Nifty is a cozy restaurant, cafe & bar with a friendly friendly customer service both from ordering and delivering but also in the restaurant. I regularly have found myself needing to change from home cooked meals at odd times or even a healthy « dawa » before I take a group or an individual for a hike in the tea plantations in Tigoni. The service was quick and efficient and friendly. Since the weather here is quite often chilly, you have the choice of staying indoors or outside with a heater and I think they also might help with something to cover up if need be. The setting overlooks the Brackenhurst Indeginous forest, where you can almost forget that you are in have a road on the other side plus a live concert once a week which is quite special. You can also stop over with a group for a drink, as you fuel your car right next door! I would certainly recommend it to people who are just passing by or just like me, people who live in the area. It also has ample private parking for cars, motorbikes and cyclists.

I really enjoyed the food. The meatballs + cheese were amazing! The table setup is comfy but super intimate. Tables are so close you’d be hearing all conversations of the tables around you in case your table had boring conversations Perfect place to work from though. . On a warm day

I had a delightful experience with my partner, from the food to the cozy ambience and views. They have friendly staff members and are very prompt in taking orders. Their food was great and we had their samosa and chicken wings as starters, I had the meatballs topped with marinara sauce with garlic bread and sauted vegetables, my partner had the grilled chicken & pesto panini with fries and we accompanied the meals with red wine. For the dessert, we had the chocolate brownie served with 2 scoops of ice cream. As a tip, make sure you reserve the outer terrace and visit the place on a Sunday afternoon since they have a live band (which was amazing)

A very nice spot with live music on Sundays. It has breathtaking views and the service is impeccable. I had a cocktail and a chicken ceaser salad, both of which I thoroughly enjoyed. Dress warmly, as it gets cold, but they also provide neat charcoal heaters

I really enjoyed my time here, the food is great and fresh and AFFORDABLE. Tucked away in corner of Tigoni, Nifty Cafe has amazing views from their balcony area looking over lush landscaped gardens and a serene forest in the distance. We went there for breakfast/brunch and tried the toasted crepe and the breakfast bagel. The crepe wasn’t that great, quite dry. Had to ask for strawberries and maple syrup to add to it. The breakfast bagel though was really yummy & filling. The service here was subpar… 1 star at best tbh. We had to beg for the servers to pay us a bit of attention, everything took forever to be served… the service was not great and yet the place was quite empty. I’d still go back because of those views and to try more of their food. Maybe their service will be better next time.

Beautiful location, especially round the back. Delicious smoothies, but chicken was unfortunately overcooked. Service is also very slow so not ideal if you’re in a rush or have less than an hour to spend. Great spot in an otherwise fairly remote location.

Nifty is that place you want to have dinner with your lover, friends or Family. The garden is dope too
